  The Flying Bridge
The Flying Bridge is owned and operated by The Cannon (Dan, Patti, Brett & Kelcie) and Des Rosiers (Ron, Jan, Mae, Matt & Lillye) Families. Dan is a former part owner of the Quails Inn in Lake San Marcos, having worked for the late Albert Frolander since he was 16 years old (Dan, not Al) Dan is proud of his association with the Quails and remains close to the Frolander Family. He oversees the Kitchen Operations as well as being the Banquet Coordinator. Ron has worked at Oceanside establishments such as the Pump (now McCabes), the Mira Mir (now vacant) and Henry's in Carlsbad. For the last 15 years he has worked in the Healthcare Industry. Ron oversees the service staff for the restaurant. The families have known each other for over 20 years when all the adults worked together at the Quails. Patti and Jan are at the restaurant on a regular basis, and both Mae and Brett work a set schedule. All the kids are involved in sports and the community and attend Oceanside Unified School District Schools. The Flying Bridge has been established in Oceanside since 1957 or so. So many customers come in and share their memories of the special times they spent at the Bridge. Dan and Ron have a vision to restore the Bridge to be a meeting and celebrating place -- to enhance Oceanside and the surrounding communities. We hope you will soon be part of the wonderful customers we serve and make the Bridge part of your fond memories too!
